We spent the day without internet! First we met up at the Café Wellington where Michelle announced news you can't beat - this morning she got a YES!!! Bravo Michelle ;-)
with high spirirts we visited the Ferme de la papellotte...
walked through the fields of waterloo, where we sat and worked - plotting, sketching, revising...
had a lovely lunch and discussed creativity, inspiration, love, life and the world at large over a glass of wine...
we then visited our Illustrator Coordinator in her lovely studio with a view that left us all dreaming...

That looks like a perfect day!

Thanks Mina! It was ;-) in fact, we had such a good time we want to do a winter solstice too!
DeleteThis makes me want to return to Marie's garden. Did she sketch too? Are there any sketches of the day we can see? Great photos in any case!
ReplyDeletethanks Bridget! I hope you can come back to Belgium - and meet our enthusiastic (but growing!) little group. Unfortunately, Marie didn't have time to sketch that day, but it was lovely to stop by and say hello (such a magical place, isn't it?)
DeleteThere were a few sketches, but I'm leaving that up to each individual to post - most of us plotted/wrote.
Congratulations to Michelle--tho have to guess what the Yes was :)
ReplyDeleteAnd beautiful views. I wanna see the sketches too!
LOL a publisher wants to publish one of her early reader books ;-)
DeleteHow does she get any work done with that view? I too have a view from the studio, over a beautiful estuary and it is another procrastination temptation.
